Yet
another wow... Previously lost, but a rogue file on a disk
was checked out recently by chance in GAC, hoping an old
adventure would appear. Never would I have bet my first
ever (and only) unfinished adventure game popping up!. Based
in my house and around the area I grew up, there was no
real plot. Sadly a far greater complete version was never
found, but this is some remains of it.. which is better
than nothing. I stopped work on this when I run out of GAC
memory.... too many graphics! Very sentimental creation,
and I may soon recreate some of the rooms lost, from memory
(As I can just about picture them) and link the rooms properly
together. Missing rooms afaik - "Living room with my
late uncle, Kitchen, Back Garden, Tree bases, Front Garden". |

Game
I did for fun back in 1995, after hearing about an amusing
PD game on the Amiga called Operation Lemmings and after
seeing various screenshots for Lemmings on the C64 at the
time, I did my own version and recreated some of the look
of the original Lemmings levels. I also got some fair sprites
together, and had it that you had to shoot a certain amount
to get an extra life to progress to the next level. The
main problem with this creation was the accuracy of the
gun aimer, which didn't work too well. Had it worked, might
have been ok... but the game was not much of a challenge
at all. The plan was to have a password at the end of the
game, and for there to be 4 separate files, FUN, TRICKY,
HARD, MAYHEM etc. I got bored after the first game! :-) |
